Profile And News On Tour-Page

The “Kitesurf-Trophy” is the german national kiteboarding tour. In this year they have 3 tourstops in Dahme, Büsum and Fehmarn. In my shedule on the left you can see the dates of the stops. I’ll compete in all 3 events.

They wrote a news-post of my last activities and my sponsors on their page. There is also my new profile!

Back In Snowy Germany

Posted: March 9th, 2010 - No Comments.

The last days in Tarifa were really rainy. One day it was raining so hard, that every street looked like a river, good for rafting. Stefan took that picture while I managed the car through the dirty water. The last day the weather got better again and we were able to dry all our stuff, but the wind didn’t pick up until we had to leave.

Now I am back in Germany. When we arrived at the airport it was snowing. So the weather didn’t change. This week I have to study hard for an exam next week. But on Friday the wind looks nice in St. Peter-Ording and the temperature is also getting warmer than 0°C. If that forecast comes true, I will go there for a session in the morning.

Tarifa Report #1

Posted: March 2nd, 2010 - No Comments.

Tarifa has been good so far. We had sessions nearly every day. Mostly the wind is super strong and my new 7m is awesome. You can land powerful loops fully controlled. There was also a nice day with the 11m in the lagoon, hope to have that again soon. Let’s see, what the next days will bring. I’m super happy to kite with a 4/3mm wetsuit again.

Today it was raining super hard and tomorrow looks really sick for my 7m again.

Next Trip Is… Tarifa!

After last saturdays session I don’t wanna stay any longer in icy northern Germany. There was so much ice in the water, that I had to ride as slow as possible, that wasn’t much fun.

So today I booked a flight to Tarifa. The forecast there is looking so nice with strong winds, can’t wait to get there. In the End of next week the trip will begin. Stay tuned.

First Time Snowkiting On My Brandnew Flexifoil Hadlow Pro

Today I got all my new Flexifoil Stuff. I’m super happy about that and I directly went to the beach when the kites arrived. At the moment the whole beach is covered with snow and ice. It was my first snowkite-session ever and it was great. The Hadlow Pro Kite is awesome. It has been comfortable all the time since the first second in the air.

At the weekend I wanna go to a nice spot at the baltic sea to have a session on the water again.

So I could write a lot more, but have a look at these nice shots my brother took today:

Supported By Sno22

It has been a long time since my last update. I had to do my exams and luckily I passed every one of them. After that I had pretty hectic 10 days of reconditioning our home. Now after that I have a new mission:

About 2 weeks ago I got the Snow-Skate-Board SnoGlide by Sno22. Sno22 is a new german brand. They had the vision to have fun in winter also when there is not so much snow. The SnoGlide is a mix between a skateboard and a snowboard. I asked Sno22 for a board to test it with a kite. They also would like to know if that works, so they kindly support me with that board. The last days it was snowing non-stop. Also the wind is blowing again. So the mission is going to kick off!

Tomorrow I’ll have my first snowkite-skate-session. My cams are charged, so if it works there’ll be a nice video of that mission soon.
